A Surprise Extended Family Session
A warm August afternoon, a fun and kind family, little kids running around the backyard, and one surprised great grandma. That was my afternoon with Dru and her family at her home. She wanted to surprise her mom with a photoshoot with all the grandkids and great-grandkids, and let's just say she was definitely surprised! I spent my afternoon capturing these sweet moments for this wonderful family, and it was fun being around a loving bunch. My advice for extended family sessions is to just keep it simple. Don't want to drive to a park or other location with grandma or grandpa? Fine with me! Let's do your backyard. Don't want to get dressed up? Perfect! Let's keep it casual. Afraid your kiddos won't smile for photos or the session will be too long for them? No problem! I'll make a game out of taking their picture and I promise I give kids and adults plenty of breaks.
